The Role: We are looking for a skilled HR professional to join our team at Local Tax Office. As an HR Director, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization’s overall business objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include managing recruitment and selection processes, maintaining pay plans and benefits programs, assessing training needs, and ensuring legal compliance across all human resource functions. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing performance appraisals, handling workplace safety and health matters, and providing strategic support to management through HR metrics.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that drive efficiency and productivity.
  2. Recruit, select, and retain top talent for the organization.
  3. Maintain accurate records of employee data, including personnel files, performance evaluations, and training documentation.
  4. Analyze and address grievances, conflicts, or other issues affecting employees or management.
  5. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify business needs and develop targeted solutions through HR initiatives.
  6. Prepare and present reports to management on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, training effectiveness, and compliance status.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a similar industrial setting.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $100,000-$120,000, contingent upon experience. Benefits include generous paid leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and participation in the company's retirement plan.
