Sales Director for Industry Expansion

TerraCycle is an innovative leader in sustainability solutions, operating globally with 20 countries covered. The company has developed a platform to move from disposable to durable supply chains, allowing consumers to shop responsibly using reusable packaging.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to manage industry sales teams in the Americas, UK, and Europe. This role will drive performance, monitor and recommend new business opportunities, and define lead generation targets based on market and sales performance.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of best-in-class sales processes. They should be able to identify challenges and develop creative solutions, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and have proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate sales teams to meet or exceed KPIs
- Identify new sales opportunities through analysis of competition and internal successes
- Maintain records and update CRM and budget systems
- Built and assess sales management system in coordination with Finance, Operations, Marketing/CRM, business teams, and IT
- Assess sales tools for productivity and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience
- Sustainability experience not required but a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of sales processes and techniques
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Effective time and project management skills
