Job Responsibilities- Delivering high-quality care in post-acute settings as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Collaborating with physicians and other staff to discuss care options and monitor outcomes
- Creating care plans in conjunction with medical staff and residents
- Setting up and overseeing the use of medical equipment
- Collecting samples, such as blood and urine, for laboratory analysis
- Administering appropriate treatments and medications to residents
- Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
- Engaging with residents and their families regarding optimal care options
- Supervising and mentoring nursing and support staff as necessary
- Documenting patient histories and interventions accurately
- Assisting with incident investigations
- Current state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
