Administrative Support Specialist

As an Administrative Support Specialist at Women & Infants Hospital, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Division, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing grant proposals and correspondence in final form
- Gathering data for statistical reports and monitoring departmental budgets
- Performing secretarial functions, including screening calls and visitors, typing, and filing
- Providing non-clinical support to fill in the absence of the Director
- Acting as a resource to internal and external staff regarding Division activities
Requirements:
- High school graduate with at least one year of college or business school with training in secretarial procedures
- Three to five years of relevant experience required; familiarity with hospital or healthcare procedures and background in medical terminology preferred
- Must be computer literate, have excellent interpersonal, communication, and secretarial skills
- Must be fluent in the English language
