Job Summary

GAT Airline Ground Support is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join its team as an Administrative Assistant. This dynamic role requires a strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Collaborate with the General Manager and HR to ensure optimal staffing levels and minimize turnover.
    • Source, screen, and interview applicants using competency-based guidelines.
    • Manage the applicant tracking system and maintain accurate records.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist the management team with staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping.
    • Conduct onboarding orientations for new team members and ensure a smooth transition.
    • Investigate and resolve exceptions in payroll processing.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Publish and post memos as requested by management.
    • Ensure timely submission of corporate reports, such as payroll change notices and profile changes.
  • Recruitment and Training
    • Assist with recruiting efforts, including advertising, interviewing, and processing new hires.
    • Coordinate training and SIDA training for new employees.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure OJI's are properly documented and submitted to Corporate Headquarters.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient in English language, reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous administrative and payroll experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and FBI fingerprint background check.
Work Environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be safety-minded and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
