Job Summary

Methode Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to secure new business opportunities and awards
  • Lead and leverage internal cross-functional teams to maximize new business acquisition
  • Collect competitive and market intelligence to inform future business growth initiatives
  • Present commercial issues related to pricing, tooling, and cost recovery to customers
  • Maintain and manage business development and account management records
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities and identify business risks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or business
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant business development/sales experience
  • Prior experience and relationships within the PACCAR and/or DTNA market segment
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent presentation and customer interface skills
