Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of a family office manager with expertise in bookkeeping. This position involves overseeing the financial and administrative functions of our family office, which encompasses various business entities, trusts, and individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct bookkeeping tasks, including transaction recording, account reconciliation, financial report preparation, and tax filing.
  2. Manage and enhance the filing and supply management system for the family office.
  3. Facilitate tenant communications, including invoice distribution, rent collection, and issue resolution.
  4. Coordinate meetings and travel logistics for the family office director and other personnel.
  5. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the family office director and family members, including handling correspondence, document preparation, and miscellaneous errands.
  6. Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the family office director.

Qualifications:

  1. Possession of a college degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of three years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within a family office or comparable environment.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
  4. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  6. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
