Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Vector Consulting, Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst. This is a 12+ months renewable contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair moderately complex problems in response to customer reported incidents. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain moderately complex to complex customer hardware and software. Ensure rigorous application of information security standards. Assist with identifying and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Proactively and timely resolve tickets based on the severity of the issue. Serve as a technical consultant to client interfacing teams. Assist with developing deployment schedules and logistics. Research and provide evaluation of trends and patterns in customer support requirements.
  • Maintain good relations with agency management, vendors, coworkers, and end-users. Travel onsite to resolve technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with offered training courses to be determined by manager. Provide advice and direction to agencies on purchases of hardware and software.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of IT development, implementation, and documentation in an enterprise network environment.
  • Knowledge of IT techniques to provide support of computer hardware and software, mobile devices, and peripherals deployed in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to establish working relationships with work teams and customers. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Education:

A High School Diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications, system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems. A degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
