The Dermatology Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our team of healthcare professionals. This includes greeting and interacting with patients, collecting patient intake information, and assisting with medical procedures.
This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with medical procedures, including setting up and sterilizing instruments
- Collect and record patient intake information, including medical histories and vital signs
- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records
- Medical Assistant experience or equivalent in a high-volume medical setting
- Completion of a technical/vocational training school program with CMA, AAMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts and be available for overtime when necessary
