Faunteroy Community Enrichment Center (FCEC) is a nonprofit organization classified under 501(c)(3), committed to uplifting Ward 7 in Washington, DC. Established in 2013, FCEC pays tribute to the legacy of F. Harvey Faunteroy, a distinguished advocate for education and philanthropy who championed the cause of youth development.

In alignment with this vision, the Faunteroy Center curates dynamic programs aimed at inspiring young individuals to uncover their inherent skills and talents. By introducing fresh experiences, we broaden horizons and enhance potential life trajectories, thereby increasing avenues for success.

We are on the lookout for passionate individuals who share our belief that youth require structure, attention, and guidance rather than being deemed lost.

FCEC is seeking to fill the role of Part-Time Program Coordinator for our Youth Bicycle Academy. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in bicycle maintenance, including but not limited to the replacement of chains, brakes, tires, and seats.

Familiarity with the Deanwood area and the wider Ward 7 community is advantageous, as this role involves leading bicycle excursions with the youth.

The Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring attendance and behavioral data through a cloud-based system. Additionally, the individual must ensure the safety and trust within the program environment while supervising participants during activities. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and will undergo a comprehensive background check, including a review for Sexual Abuse & Molestation.
