Position Overview

The Store Operations Leader plays a crucial role within the Store Management team, driving operational excellence and fostering customer loyalty through outstanding service. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position requires a proactive approach to team engagement and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

The Store Operations Leader is tasked with supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the store, including:

  • Comprehensive Store Management: Implementing policies and supervising daily operations.
  • Sales and Inventory Oversight: Managing sales performance and inventory levels effectively.
  • Team Development: Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Financial Stewardship: Overseeing financial operations and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Leading initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.

Essential Functions:

1. Leadership:

  • Guide and motivate store teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Delegate tasks and manage crew activities efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement operational improvements.

2. Customer Engagement:

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Champion the CVS customer service ethos by fostering a welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in retail management or supervisory roles.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
