Position Overview

As a representative of Alaia, the Boutique Director plays a crucial role in motivating and developing the store team to achieve both quantitative and qualitative objectives. This position requires a dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of collaborating with internal and external partners to propel business initiatives forward. The Boutique Director must be a strategic thinker, adept at providing actionable recommendations, making informed decisions, and solving complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Enhance client relationships to meet sales targets and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Guide the sales team in client development efforts, nurturing both new and existing client relationships.
  • Exemplify sales leadership by actively engaging on the sales floor and personally managing client interactions.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to drive business through key product categories.
  • Develop and implement a business growth strategy, leveraging a robust network of corporate partners.

Client Experience

  • Enhance the in-store experience by delivering unforgettable moments for clients.
  • Lead by example and provide coaching to the team.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor to ensure exceptional guest experience management.
  • Optimize store amenities to create distinctive experiences for clients.
  • Proactively address client service needs before, during, and after sales.

Talent Development

  • Attract and hire top talent to build a high-performing team focused on exceptional service.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent management plan for the store.
  • Assess team capabilities accurately and create development plans to support career advancement.
  • Encourage continuous improvement through coaching, feedback, and recognition initiatives.

Market Awareness

  • Drive client engagement by transitioning from reactive to proactive client relationship management.
  • Monitor local luxury fashion market trends, including product offerings and competitor activities, to enhance store performance.
  • Formulate a holistic marketplace strategy, identifying key partnerships to stimulate growth.
  • Actively engage in local events to expand networks and encourage team participation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury retail.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
