Position: Retail Team Leader
Primary Responsibilities:
Client & Service Expertise:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in client development.
  • Lead the team in cultivating repeat business and maximizing sales through proactive outreach.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, maintaining a productive client book.
  • Uphold standards for client engagement and appreciation.
  • Exhibit strong selling skills consistently.
Leadership Presence:
  • Achieve personal sales objectives.
  • Educate the team on sales strategies, personal goals, and store performance metrics to drive achievement.
  • Ensure exceptional service is delivered to all customers through comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Foster a collaborative and enjoyable team environment.
Brand Equity Development:
  • Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic and philosophy to both the sales team and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with brand and operational standards to maintain consistency.
  • Oversee store presentation standards to enhance the shopping experience.
Operational Excellence:
  • Supervise store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the facility.
  • Accurately manage all POS transactions and inventory functions to uphold inventory integrity.
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to multitasking and prioritization.
Preferred Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in luxury retail or a similar environment.
  • A college degree is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders.
