Position: Retail Team Leader
Primary Responsibilities:
Client & Service Expertise:
- Demonstrate proficiency in client development.
- Lead the team in cultivating repeat business and maximizing sales through proactive outreach.
- Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, maintaining a productive client book.
- Uphold standards for client engagement and appreciation.
- Exhibit strong selling skills consistently.
- Achieve personal sales objectives.
- Educate the team on sales strategies, personal goals, and store performance metrics to drive achievement.
- Ensure exceptional service is delivered to all customers through comprehensive product knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and enjoyable team environment.
- Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic and philosophy to both the sales team and customers.
- Ensure compliance with brand and operational standards to maintain consistency.
- Oversee store presentation standards to enhance the shopping experience.
- Supervise store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the facility.
- Accurately manage all POS transactions and inventory functions to uphold inventory integrity.
- Adhere to loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to multitasking and prioritization.
- 2-3 years of experience in luxury retail or a similar environment.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable with climbing ladders.
