Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at VIP Hospitality Group LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships to increase revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Account Management: Lead efforts to market key accounts' potential for the hotel, focusing on room nights and event bookings.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop business through proactive direct sales, emails, appointment calls, and hotel tours, creating cohesive sales strategies and setting goals to meet those objectives.
  • Revenue Management: Ensure guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services are approved within budget, working closely with Revenue Management to negotiate the best rate for the hotel's goals and occupancy.
  • Event Coordination: Work closely with other department heads to facilitate events and coordinate activities, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Public Relations: Serve as the hotel's public relations and marketing team for travel, tourism, corporate travel professionals, industry associations, and events, promoting and driving business.
  • Leadership and Development: Mentor hotel employees as part of the leadership team, helping them achieve individual and team objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Hotel Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience required, with 3-5 years of experience in Hospitality preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, and knowledge and understanding of room-blocking, RFPs, and Contracts.

  • Salary and Bonus: The base salary and bonus mix is based on sales measured against goals.
