Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Network Protector Assembler - 1st Shift.

The hourly compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly, wiring, fitting, and modification tasks involved in the production of low, medium, and high voltage assemblies, including indoor and outdoor configurations, breaker compartments, renewal parts, and associated sub-assemblies.
  • Identify and gather necessary materials for kits and prepare them for shipment.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, Job Setter, and Group Leader to ensure work efficiency.
  • Flexibly engage in various job functions as required.
  • Utilize hand and air tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and measuring devices to assemble, adjust, or repair assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists as needed for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering.
  • Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as necessary.
  • Receive, label, pack, and prepare all materials and assemblies for shipment.
  • Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report shortages to relevant operators.
  • Properly use calibrated equipment for wire crimping and torqueing wiring and bus connections.
  • Inspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and ensure cleanliness.
  • Respond to change notices, customer-requested adjustments, and development needs.
  • Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.
  • Follow manufacturing information, drawings, sketches, and instructions from supervision while adhering to established procedures.
  • Make necessary adjustments and modifications to assemblies to ensure proper operation.
  • Pack, crate, and tape finished products according to instructions and prepare them for shipping.
  • Utilize material handling equipment to move products and supplies.
  • Observe all safety and hygiene requirements as specified or directed, maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe workplace.
  • Comply with environmental, health, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Corporate Sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience.
