Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Safety and Quality: Follow and role model site safety, quality SOPs, and Site Standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Operate instrument and electrical tools and equipment to troubleshoot, fabricate, replace, and repair industrial parts and equipment, including VOM, DLRO, megger, hi-pot, simulators, and AMS software.
  • Mechanical Tools and Equipment: Operate mechanical tools and equipment to fabricate, replace, and repair industrial parts and equipment, including rebuilding, replacement in kind, and alignment of rotating equipment.
  • Reliability and Cost Effectiveness: Improve equipment and system reliability and cost effectiveness through demonstrated equipment, component, and system ownership, including safety lead, quality lead, equipment standardization, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Technical Expertise: Function as the owner of a technology and/or equipment subject matter expert through the personal development of in-depth technical skills to support PM and troubleshooting of complex issues.
  • Mobile Equipment Operation: Operate mobile equipment as required.
  • Low Voltage Troubleshooting: Qualified Electrical Low voltage troubleshooting.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot instrument, electrical, and mechanical problems and perform root cause analysis in partnership with operations and Engineering to solve routine and non-routine problems.
  • Process Improvement: Implement proven counter measures and systemic improvements to eliminate recurring problems.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by developing and completing preventive maintenance requirements, interpreting technical drawings or diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instruction, engineering specifications, and plant equipment component standards.
  • Instrument Calibration: Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot digital and pneumatic controls and plant instruments such as flow pressure, temperature, mass, PH level, and density.
  • Work Documentation: Document work performed in the maintenance-computerized database (SAP and AMS) to build equipment history by creating, retrieving, and closing work orders.
  • Technical Database Improvement: Improve site and equipment technical database through SAP PM standards and site technical documentation improvements.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by complying with documentation, procedural, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Attend and participate in required training; train others in areas of proficiency or expertise.
  • Organizational Policies: Understand and follow all organizational policies, procedures, and rules, ensuring that all laws are obeyed and equal employment, safety, and environmental protection are practiced.
  • Availability and Attendance: Must be able to work in excess of eight hours per day or forty hours per week on any shift or travel as needed. Willing to provide off-shift call-in and planned shift coverage when necessary.
  • Teamwork: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Food Safety and GMP: Role models GMP and Food Safety site standards.
