The Opportunity
As a key player in our Corporate Treasury team, you will be instrumental in managing Netflix's financial framework, encompassing our capital structure, risk management, and banking operations. This includes oversight of a substantial debt portfolio, a comprehensive foreign currency hedging initiative, and significant cash reserves. We seek a seasoned professional to enhance our Corporate Finance & Capital Markets efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of capital allocation strategies, experience in debt markets, and the ability to evaluate capital market proposals in alignment with our corporate objectives. This hybrid role requires in-office presence three times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and formulate corporate finance strategies that support the company’s goals.
  • Engage actively in the deal-making process, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution.
  • Create and maintain financial models related to liquidity planning and capital allocation.
  • Monitor compliance with essential covenants and collaborate with regulatory and legal teams as necessary.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the commercial paper program.
  • Manage reporting and tracking for banking partners, including ratings monitoring and fee analysis.
  • Serve as a backup for the Markets Risk Management team, focusing on foreign exchange risk management.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Support various cross-functional projects, including M&A strategy and data visualization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury or related fields such as banking or fintech.
  • Degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related area.
  • Strong interest in global financial markets and diverse asset classes.
  • Proficient in developing and managing financial models and large datasets.
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of tasks and drives them to completion.
  • Familiarity with RPA, SQL, and Google Apps Script (Java) is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation model is based solely on an annual salary, allowing you to choose the proportion of your compensation between salary and stock options. The salary range for this position is $210,000 - $500,000.
