Role Overview

As a Lead Brand Strategist at Snap, you will play a crucial role in steering and managing key initiatives within the Creative & Marketing team. Your responsibilities will encompass fostering essential collaborations and facilitating discussions that propel projects forward. You will become a recognized authority in your area within the brand management sector, with the potential for oversight from senior Brand Management personnel depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in diverse projects while maintaining a focus on brand needs and creative excellence.
  • Provide assistance to team members on significant projects as required.
  • Encourage open communication and teamwork across the multidisciplinary Creative & Marketing group to ensure successful execution of creative concepts.
  • Collaborate with teams throughout the entire process of developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies, including both organic and paid campaigns.
  • Oversee the complete creative workflow, ensuring resource allocation and project forecasting are effectively managed.
  • Influence and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to bring campaigns and initiatives to fruition, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion.
  • Utilize your expertise to meet deadlines and manage project requirements, including messaging, deliverables, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify and assess project opportunities from cross-functional teams aligned with the Marketing Organization's strategic objectives.
  • Work alongside various teams, including PR, design, and external agencies, to create outstanding marketing communications for a range of initiatives.
  • Partner with the media team to develop impactful media strategies that effectively convey our brand message.
  • Quickly familiarize yourself with our media strategies, analytics, and campaign optimization processes.
  • Ensure all documents and creative outputs are accurate and adhere to brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with a strong creative focus.
  • Experience managing cross-platform deliverables and guiding the creative production of various marketing materials.
  • Ability to function as a generalist within the department, taking charge of key initiatives and providing support as needed.
  • Proven experience collaborating with creative teams to advance innovative projects.
  • Capable of managing multiple small projects simultaneously.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance while seeking oversight when necessary.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to follow-through.
  • Previous experience with Snap products is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Snap Inc. products and services.
