This Lead Tax Strategist will oversee multiple client service teams, collaborating closely on special projects and providing business advisory services. A deep understanding of the tax implications of business decisions and long-term financial objectives is essential.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, mandatory; a Master's in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD degree preferred.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • A minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance within public accounting or a blend of corporate and public accounting.
  • Proficiency in Corporate, S-Corp, and/or Partnership tax returns.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills, with expertise in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns.
  • Outstanding client service and communication abilities, with a proven track record of building and maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring capabilities, along with strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in tax software and technology.
