Greenlane Infrastructure is a significant joint venture dedicated to establishing a comprehensive, high-performance zero-emission public charging and hydrogen refueling network for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. This initiative is crucial for addressing the pressing demand for accessible electric charging infrastructure across the nation, contributing to the advancement of a sustainable zero-emission vehicle ecosystem.

In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of the Grants, Incentives, and Policy Team as the Lead Grants Strategist. This position involves overseeing the grant management process, including administration, coordination, timeline oversight, application development, submission, reporting, and project closure. You will foster relationships with essential stakeholders, including funding organizations and community partners, while facilitating collaboration among joint venture partners and grant consultants. Your contributions will be vital in supporting the deployment of Greenlane's public medium and heavy-duty charging and hydrogen hubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping and executing Greenlane's grant funding strategy in alignment with the company's strategic roadmap.
  • Evaluate market trends and identify funding opportunities to secure grants for public charging initiatives.
  • Create and maintain a tracking system or database to manage grant applications relevant to Greenlane projects.
  • Compile high-level summaries and recommendations for the Grants team regarding various funding opportunities.
  • Organize and prioritize diverse funding sources, managing timelines to optimize grant awards.
  • Coordinate input and deliverables from joint venture stakeholders necessary for application submissions and reporting.
  • Develop a cost-effectiveness analysis for grants and a tracking system to assess administrative costs against grant awards.
  • Prepare and submit grant applications in accordance with specific funding program requirements.
  • Oversee reporting and administrative tasks related to funding awards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare presentations for the leadership team.
  • Create compelling narratives and templates to enhance the application process.
  • Engage with stakeholders and build relationships with funding agencies, community organizations, and workforce partners.
  • Facilitate meetings and maintain documentation to support the development, management, and closure of grant awards.
  • Provide general support to the Grants team to foster a diverse and talented workforce committed to delivering innovative, high-value solutions.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing.
  • In-depth knowledge of the zero-emission vehicle ecosystem, including grants, policies, and incentives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven aptitude for business-related topics.
  • Exceptional proofreading and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on long-term objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
