Position Overview

As we expand our operations in the United States, we are looking for meticulous, analytical, and inquisitive professionals to join our environmental testing division.

This role is flexible and can be performed from various metropolitan areas in the U.S., provided candidates are prepared to travel and are situated near an airport.

Key Responsibilities:

Fieldwork:

  • Comprehend the project scope and objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients to arrange site visits and access requirements.
  • Effectively source, prepare, and maintain all necessary field equipment.
  • Be punctual and ready for all scheduled site activities.
  • Collect samples and document measurements according to project specifications.
  • Observe and record site conditions as per internal protocols.
  • Gather information to diagnose and address any issues, escalating questions or concerns as needed.

Reporting:

  • Document the aims, objectives, and methodologies of projects accurately.
  • Transcribe observations, measurements, and results meticulously.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all recorded data.
  • Maintain accurate job registers and log samples within the designated systems.
  • Prepare draft reports for review by senior staff, allowing adequate time for feedback.

Broader Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to team projects and assist senior staff as needed.
  • Proactively seek additional tasks when your workload permits.
  • Identify opportunities for contribution and improvement.
  • Engage with your manager to ensure transparency and support.
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate records of time and expenses.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and represent CETEC positively at all times.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Facilities Management is required. A Master's degree is a plus. Candidates with LEED and WELL Accredited Professional designations are preferred.

Experience in the field is advantageous, particularly for locations outside of San Francisco. A strong commitment to methodology and exceptional attention to detail are essential.

  • Proactive communication and support for compliance initiatives.
  • Punctuality in fieldwork and reporting.
  • Professionalism in client interactions and site visits.
