Location: Remote with international travel
Overview: Pyka is seeking a dedicated Field-Based Flight Test Specialist to facilitate the advancement and deployment of our cutting-edge autonomous aircraft.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial missions of our aircraft in various international locations, providing training and support to clients during operations.
- Engage in recurrent training and preparation at our test facilities.
- Manage deployments overseas, ensuring seamless operations at customer sites.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the assistance of our engineering teams.
- Provide feedback on product features and enhancements to the design team.
- Oversee maintenance activities related to the aircraft and associated ground infrastructure.
- Act as Pilot In Command or Ground Control Operator for experimental unmanned aircraft.
- Coordinate logistics to support flight operations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UAV operations or manned aircraft.
- Familiarity with ground control software and mission planning.
- Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
