Overview:

The Associate Contracts Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing environmental compliance permits within the Land and Environmental Management sector, specifically focusing on Air Quality and Hazardous Materials Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the permit coordinator, managing approximately 1000 permits issued by various state and local environmental authorities. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing fees for:
    • Minor air quality sources
    • Title V permitted facilities
    • LNG air permits
    • PERP registrations
    • CUPA permits
    • Fire department permits
    • Spill emergency response fees
    • Water system permits
  2. Collaborate with Environmental Field Specialists (EFS) to ensure the timely completion and submission of around 100 annual emission inventory reports to local air districts.
  3. Occasionally travel to the office to manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring efficient communication.
  4. Oversee the annual payment processes for complex compliance obligations, including significant invoices related to environmental fees.
  5. Provide support for special projects as required.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Manager of Air Quality, Environmental Management & Programs, while also providing support to other program managers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing Environmental Compliance permits and contracts.
  • Proven contract management expertise.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and SAP.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated administrative skills, including fee payment processing, tracking, and records management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing work demands.
