Our Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an Environmental Consultant for our Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice. In this role, you will collaborate with a team addressing environmental forensic issues and assisting clients in managing risks associated with environmental contamination.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist multidisciplinary project teams in tackling complex challenges related to environmental and regulatory compliance, as well as environmental assessment, remediation, and forensic analysis.
  • Synthesize technical information and apply critical thinking to prepare and review reports and technical presentations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice and interdisciplinary groups from other Exponent practices as necessary.
  • Develop client relationships and work within a team to enhance business within the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with PFAS or chlorinated solvents is advantageous.
  • Understanding of the fate and transport of chemicals in the environment.
  • Consulting experience is preferred.

Compensation:

Our consultants are recognized for their technical and business contributions, with opportunities for career growth. Exponent's total compensation plan aligns with the quality and quantity of work performed and the professional standards upheld by Exponent. Total compensation for Associate and Senior Associate levels includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonuses, and a 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities, which will be assessed during the interview process.
