Position Overview

We are looking for analytical, detail-oriented, and inquisitive professionals to join our environmental testing division. This role is flexible, allowing candidates to work from various metropolitan areas in the U.S., provided they are close to an airport and willing to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Fieldwork:

  • Understand project scopes and requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients to arrange site visits and access.
  • Prepare, utilize, and maintain all necessary field equipment.
  • Timely and prepared attendance for all scheduled work.
  • Collect samples and document measurements as per project guidelines.
  • Observe and record site conditions accurately.
  • Gather information to identify and address issues promptly.

Reporting:

  • Document project aims, objectives, and methodologies accurately.
  • Transcribe observations, measurements, and results meticulously.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all recorded data.
  • Ensure timely logging of samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Draft reports for review by senior staff, allowing ample time for feedback.

Broader Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to team projects and initiatives, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Seek additional tasks when time permits and request assistance when needed.
  • Engage in transparent communication with management for support and training.
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain professional appearance.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Facilities Management is required. A Master's degree is a plus. Field experience is preferred for San Francisco and required for other locations. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
