Key Responsibilities:
As a Patient Engagement Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the workflow related to physician orders using HCHB.

This involves the daily management of tasks that lead to the creation of orders that require physician signatures.

2. Organizing and delivering orders to physicians according to their preferred communication methods.


3. Collaborating with physician offices to identify any changes in preferred delivery methods and streamline processes in agreement with the offices.

4. Monitoring outstanding orders and executing follow-up tasks as per established protocols, including necessary escalations.

5. Assisting internal teams in acquiring necessary documentation from external stakeholders.


6. Completing the order management process for signed orders by receiving, processing, and attaching them based on order type in the EMR system.

7. Communicating the receipt of orders to relevant stakeholders based on individual patient circumstances.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Patient Engagement Specialist role, you should possess:

- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, with a high school diploma as a minimum requirement.
- Vocational or technical training in healthcare-related certifications (CNA, MA) is preferred.
- The ability to build rapport with customers and their staff effectively.


- Strong time management skills to ensure daily tasks are completed and timely follow-ups for orders are conducted as needed.


Compensation:
Salary is based on years of experience, with a competitive hourly rate offered.
