Role Responsibilities

The Territory Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in promoting BD's Biosurgery offerings and Surgiphor among healthcare professionals, including physicians, clinicians, and key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Delivering presentations and educational sessions on the proper application of our products to surgeons and operating room personnel.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Providing on-site technical assistance during medical procedures to ensure optimal product usage.
  • Training healthcare staff on product functionalities and ensuring they have access to the latest product information.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of BD's product lines, distribution channels, and sales methodologies.
  • Meeting and exceeding territory sales and profitability targets.
  • Developing new client relationships and nurturing existing ones.
  • Keeping clients informed about product updates, order statuses, and pricing changes.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
  • Participating in customer meetings and industry trade shows, providing feedback post-events.
  • Reporting significant market developments and competitive activities to management.
  • Maintaining promotional materials and equipment in an organized manner.
  • Completing all administrative tasks accurately and promptly, including maintaining detailed account records.
  • Adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Building and sustaining relationships with the District Manager, fellow Territory Managers, and clients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 to 3 years of proven sales experience.
  • Experience in operating room sales or medical devices is preferred.
  • Demonstrated successful sales performance.
  • The ability to work effectively in an operating room setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • A clean criminal background check.

Additional Preferred Skills

Familiarity with medical procedures and basic anatomy to effectively communicate product benefits is advantageous.
