About the Role

The Territory Sales Manager is a key position at KaVo Dental, responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets within an assigned territory. This role requires a strong understanding of the dental industry, excellent sales and marketing skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and acquire new customers.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key customers and dental equipment dealers, providing exceptional service and support to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest products, technologies, and competitive activity in the dental industry, using this knowledge to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Manage Territory Operations: Effectively manage the assigned territory, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure optimal sales performance.
  • Participate in Trade Shows and Company Meetings: Represent KaVo Dental at local trade shows and company meetings, showcasing products and services and building relationships with customers and partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as business or marketing.
  • Business-to-Business Sales Experience: 2+ years of experience in business-to-business sales, with a proven track record of success in a commission-driven role.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license, as travel within the territory will be required.
  • Candidate Must Live in the Territory: The candidate must reside in the assigned territory, with a strong understanding of the local market and customer base.
Preferred Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Sales Experience: 3+ years of experience in business-to-business sales, with a proven track record of success in a commission-driven role.
  • Prior Dental Industry Experience: Prior experience in the dental industry, with a strong understanding of products, technologies, and market trends.
  • Formalized Sales Training: Completion of formalized sales training courses, with a focus on business-to-business sales and marketing.
  • Technical Product Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to digest, comprehend, and verbalize technical product and clinical information related to KaVo Dental products.
