Your Responsibilities:


Accountable for the sales of instruments, services, reagents, and other consumables within a designated territory, leveraging comprehensive market segment knowledge, technical expertise, and effective sales techniques.


Key Duties:


Achieve or surpass company sales targets in the assigned territory for designated products through a thorough understanding of market segments, technical knowledge, and sales proficiency.

Collaborate with sales management to formulate and implement a territory growth strategy.
Identify potential sales opportunities and create a sales strategy to convert leads into actual sales utilizing available resources.

Travel within the assigned territory to engage with existing and prospective clients, enhancing knowledge of accounts, soliciting orders, conducting product demonstrations, participating in trade exhibitions, and troubleshooting as necessary.

Establish robust customer relationships to foster and sustain current and future business with Miltenyi Biotec Inc.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and ensure prompt resolution of any customer inquiries, issues, or complaints.

Regularly utilize and adhere to company policies regarding the corporate electronic account management system (CRM), documenting customer interactions, appointment schedules, and tracking opportunities.

Complete all required reports of business transactions and expenses in a timely and accurate manner as mandated by management.

Engage in strategic market analysis with colleagues, supervisors, and corporate staff to continuously identify potential opportunities for maximizing territory potential.

Consistently provide competitive and market trend insights to management to assist in recognizing new product opportunities and special marketing initiatives.

Work collaboratively within shared accounts to enhance overall company sales.
Maintain confidentiality regarding Miltenyi Biotec's customers and technologies.
Willingness to travel up to 50-75%.
Additional projects and assignments as directed.

Qualifications:
Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. degree from an accredited institution; Two to four years of sales and/or research experience in the life sciences sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Background in Immunology and/or Molecular Biology is preferred, with a Ph.D. being highly desirable.
Familiarity with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.

Must possess a valid driver's license, proof of insurance/insurability, and the ability to obtain necessary clearance for accessing restricted government accounts.


Physical Requirements:

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

The employee must be able to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds (dual lift).

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail.

Must be able to travel routinely by car and plane.

Work Environment:


The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this role.

This position is performed in various facilities. Each individual in this role must have a home office environment that is temperature controlled. This role requires mobility to visit client sites. Due to travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements.

Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this role, and strict safety guidelines and SOPs must be adhered to, with Personal Protective Equipment being mandatory.

All individuals in this role will receive appropriate training prior to engaging in work that requires Personal Protective Equipment or SOP procedures.
