About the Role

A-MAX Auto Insurance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our Corporate Family in Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Facilities Coordinators and promoting a professional and safe work environment for all staff members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop the Facilities Staff on overall efficiencies in managing repair and maintenance, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

  • Implement a standard Root cause analysis approach for equipment/asset failures, utilizing findings to benefit retail stores across the state.

  • Manage, procure vendors, and schedule for predictive maintenance programs, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.

  • Prioritize daily and weekly maintenance requests submitted by each retail location, ensuring business continuity.

  • Collaborate with the VP of Facilities to track and provide weekly/monthly/quarterly budget reporting, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.

  • Coordinate and lead the facilities and maintenance department to cover assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

  • Execute Risk Management and safety process programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Provide solution-based expertise in facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, driving innovation and efficiency.

  • Manage multi-unit sites within the organization, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies.

  • Track all open tickets and manage Service Level Agreements for all trades, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare scope documents and solicit proposals for repair and construction services from third-party service providers, ensuring best value and quality.

  • Manage projects, supervise, and coordinate work of vendors and contractors, ensuring successful project delivery.

  • Troubleshoot and respond to after-hour and weekend issues regarding operational aspects of the facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to core activities.

  • Manage high work order ticket volume, ensuring efficient resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure minimum disruption to core activities, driving business continuity and growth.

  • Direct, coordinate, and plan essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, and recycling, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Ensure the building meets health and safety requirements and complies with legislation, ensuring staff safety and well-being.

  • Manage and track all company-owned vehicles, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or finance (preferred).

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in facilities or operations management (preferred).

  • 3+ years of management experience (required).

  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Available to travel based on business requirements.
