Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar is seeking a skilled and passionate Culinary Operations Leader to join our esteemed restaurant group, recognized as one of the premier dining establishments in Colorado.

What We Seek:

The Culinary Operations Leader will report directly to and collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager.

  • Proven knowledge and experience to enhance the efficiency of a bustling kitchen environment
  • Ability to oversee kitchen equipment and facilities
  • Expertise in seafood handling and butchery
  • Passion for preparing exceptional cuisine, leading a dynamic team, and enjoying the culinary journey
  • A minimum of two years in a culinary preparation role
  • Basic financial acumen with an understanding of weekly budgets, costed menus, and scheduling
  • Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, Excel spreadsheets, Google Suite, and electronic order entry
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (training will be provided)

Physical requirements include the ability to perform the duties of a Culinary Operations Leader, which entails bending, reaching, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy and hot items. Candidates must possess the stamina to work five 8-9 hour shifts weekly.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
