Position: Culinary Operations Leader

Reports to: General Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 to 45 hours per week)

Compensation: Competitive Salary

Availability: Flexibility for weekend and evening shifts preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide positive leadership and direction to kitchen staff.
  • Deliver on-the-job training and coaching to ensure adherence to Chook standards.
  • Monitor staff punctuality and readiness for shifts, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and kitchen protocols.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering processes.
  • Maintain organized kitchen systems and workflows.
  • Prepare daily task lists for kitchen personnel.
  • Conduct end-of-shift evaluations for kitchen staff.
  • Manage keys and alarm systems effectively.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Chook, both inside and outside the restaurant.
  • Facilitate clear communication with guests, staff, and management.
