Position Overview: In the role of Administrative Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in facilitating the efficient functioning of our office. Your duties will encompass a range of administrative responsibilities aimed at supporting our team and fostering a productive work atmosphere, which is vital for the success of our artistic endeavors.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute general office tasks including answering phone calls, managing files, and performing data entry
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, rehearsals, and appointments
  • Oversee and maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages
  • Provide assistance to various departments such as marketing, production, and administration
  • Ensure a tidy and organized office environment
  • Support special projects, event preparations, and additional tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in an office or administrative role is preferred; experience in the performing arts sector is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for the performing arts and cultural initiatives
