Position Overview

The Aerospace Corporation is on the lookout for a seasoned Strategic People Partner who will act as a pivotal consultant and collaborator within our Engineering and Technology Group. This role is essential in fostering organizational effectiveness to achieve both strategic and financial objectives. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that cultivate a thriving workplace culture, ensuring employee engagement and managerial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert guidance and best practices in areas such as change management, employee retention, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new managers, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Conduct comprehensive organizational assessments and deploy innovative people solutions in collaboration with People Operations Centers of Expertise.
  • Enhance the development of emerging talent and establish a robust succession planning framework to ensure a diverse pool of future leaders.
  • Empower leaders to make informed talent decisions and foster accountability within the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, continuously evaluating organizational needs to enhance engagement and performance.
  • Stay informed of HR trends and best practices to strategically position the workforce for success.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Strategic People Partner Staff III role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of relevant HR business partner experience.
  • A proven ability to establish trust and credibility across various organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of executing impactful HR initiatives.
  • Experience in utilizing data analytics to inform people strategies and mitigate risks.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of managing significant change initiatives.
  • Integrity and the ability to navigate complex organizational challenges.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

For the Strategic People Partner Staff IV position, the following additional qualifications are required:

  • 10+ years of HR business partner experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a Master’s degree.
