Role Summary:
This position serves as a key leader in the transformation of shared services, focusing on operational design and achieving critical milestones. The Senior Operations Manager will initially concentrate on an ongoing initiative with the Strategy & Operations team, which collaborates with various shared services and clinical operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to formulate and implement integration plans for shared services, ensuring that key milestones are achieved and dependencies are effectively managed.
  • Conduct thorough research, develop actionable work plans, and execute them to meet the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead governance meetings and strategic planning sessions with senior cross-functional leaders.
  • Maintain relationships with senior business leaders, providing regular updates on progress, identifying challenges, and recommending solutions.
  • Deliver status updates and comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process standardization and spearhead the adoption of best practices and process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional workstreams to ensure operational readiness.
  • Develop and apply decision-making frameworks to achieve significant outcomes for the business.
  • Oversee data analysis, shape data collection strategies, and support quality review processes.
  • Provide direction, resolve issues, and mentor junior team members and shared resources.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and contribute to innovative solutions, taking prompt action.
  • Drive initiatives independently, outline next steps, highlight risks, and create mitigation plans with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Experience in managed care organizations, preferably in medical group or IPA operations.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, consulting, and facilitation.
  • Proven ability to proactively drive change within an organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and inspiring partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, individual initiative, and accountability.

Preferred:
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Direct experience in healthcare operations.
  • Experience in management consulting, with a blend of strategy and implementation in care delivery settings.

The salary range for this position is competitive and based on various factors, including local labor markets, education, and work experience.
