Role Responsibilities:

The Associate Director, Media Planning & Strategy will oversee the daily operational management of client requirements and guide the Strategy team, which specializes in HCP (Health Care Professional) insights. You will report directly to either the Director of Strategy or the Vice President of Strategy.

This position is hybrid, necessitating three days of in-office work each week. Specifics regarding accommodations will be discussed during the interview process.

Your Contributions:

  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of the HCP audience.
  • Enhance your proficiency in various media research tools.
  • Support the Director and VP of Strategy in their initiatives.
  • Lead a team of both direct and indirect reports, focusing on:
    • Onboarding processes
    • Performance management
    • Training methodologies and resources
    • Workload management and delegation
    • Ensuring team accountability for outcomes and deliverables
    • Coaching the team to meet client and agency expectations
  • Manage multiple client accounts, specializing in HCP planning and strategy, while engaging in the following activities:
    • Providing initial insights on media strategies
    • Advising clients to shape their marketing priorities
    • Building daily relationships with clients on assigned brands
    • Overseeing comprehensive media strategy, approach, and planning for each account
    • Managing the media channel mix and initial budget allocation
    • Representing the interests of other capability teams in client and agency meetings
    • Collaborating with internal leaders to ensure strategic alignment with client needs
    • Advocating for continuous improvement in personal, team, and client deliverables
    • Contributing to new business development and organic growth initiatives
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in media planning.
  • 1+ years of experience in HCP media planning and strategy.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • 1+ year of cross-channel media planning experience.
  • Familiarity with standard media research and planning tools (e.g., Clear Decisions).
  • 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical media across various conditions, disease states, and audiences (DTC, HCP, Payer).
