Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Manager to lead our team at Kahului Airport. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our airport location, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall performance of the airport location, including staffing, profitability, contract retention, equipment management, and relationship management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Manage the airport's P&L, achieving annual revenue and EBITDA goals, and improving the efficiency of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with employees, facility management, airline management, and other government officials to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inspect equipment, perform emergency maintenance, and report maintenance needs.
  • Assess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide appropriate instruction.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or higher, college preferred.
  • Computer and smartphone proficiency.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Previous experience in performing quality mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical/other training or better.
  • Previous experience in a management role.

  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift 40 lbs. to waist height.
  • Push/pull 75 lbs.
  • Walk & stand for duration of shift.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Drivers License required.
  • Airport Badge required.
