Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position provides administrative, clerical, and receptionist support for the Human Resources Department. The HR Assistant assists new employees through health screens and new hire employment paperwork, reviews and logs change notice requests for accuracy, and processes approved Employee Change Notices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist new employees with health screens and new hire employment paperwork
• Review and log change notice requests for accuracy
• Process approved Employee Change Notices
• Prepare benefits, new hire, and orientation paperwork packets
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Secretarial school graduate preferred
• Minimum two years secretarial experience, preferably in Human Resource setting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to type 55 wpm
• Ability to use computer to perform word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work accurately with detailed confidential information
• Ability to maintain confidential information
