Job Title: LPN-School

At The Guild for Human Services, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a school setting. As an LPN-School, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and perform routine health care procedures under the supervision of the Nursing Coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, including documentation of treatment, medication administration, and vital signs.
  • Assess and inform the Nursing Coordinator of emergency situations, and contact families and physicians as directed.
  • Monitor students' health and safety, and participate in team meetings and case reviews.
  • Present on specific health topics related to designated students, and attend training as required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Current LPN licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Two years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts regulatory standards and experience with regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to pass a Guild driving test and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent organizational skills.
