Job Overview

Position Summary: We are looking for a seasoned and proactive Director of Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives through strategic collaborations and effective sales methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sales leadership, wholesale management, and business expansion within the automotive parts sector, particularly focusing on enhancing insurance, MSO (Multi-Shop Operator), and fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement strategic plans aimed at boosting wholesale and B2B sales growth, concentrating on increasing market presence and revenue streams in the insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors, utilizing insights derived from market research and customer feedback.
  • Identify and foster new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels within the insurance, MSO, and fleet markets to optimize market penetration and revenue generation, leveraging existing industry relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale clients and business partners in the insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors, addressing their needs and promoting long-term loyalty through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights within the insurance, MSO, and fleet segments to uncover opportunities for product innovation, service improvements, and operational enhancements, driving ongoing competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction, leveraging strong communication and project management capabilities.
  • Monitor and assess sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback within the insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors to inform strategic decisions and promote continuous improvement, utilizing proficiency in CRM software and business analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time to engage with clients, participate in industry events, and visit distribution partners.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in wholesale sales management and business development within the automotive parts industry, with a proven ability to expand insurance, MSO, and fleet operations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, evidenced by innovative approaches to sales strategy and business growth.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build and sustain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset focused on achieving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction, informed by successful implementations in insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools, supported by experience in leveraging technology for sales management and analytics.
