Position Overview:

Carparts Inc is seeking a skilled and seasoned Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to drive business expansion through effective collaborations and sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sales leadership, wholesale operations, and business growth within the automotive parts sector, particularly in enhancing insurance, MSO (Multi-Shop Operator), and fleet operations.

  • Formulate and execute strategic plans aimed at elevating wholesale and business-to-business sales, concentrating on increasing market presence and revenue streams in the insurance, MSO, and fleet domains, informed by market analysis and customer insights.
  • Discover and cultivate new business prospects, alliances, and distribution avenues within the insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors to optimize market reach and revenue generation, capitalizing on existing relationships and industry networks.
  • Build and sustain strong connections with key wholesale clients and business collaborators in the insurance, MSO, and fleet industries, addressing their requirements and nurturing long-term loyalty through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Examine market dynamics, competitor behavior, and customer feedback within the insurance, MSO, and fleet segments to pinpoint opportunities for product innovation, service improvements, and operational enhancements, fostering ongoing innovation and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction, leveraging strong communication and project management capabilities.
  • Assess and monitor sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback within the insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors to inform strategic decision-making and promote continuous improvement, utilizing expertise in CRM software and business analytics tools.

Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to engage with clients, participate in industry events, and visit distribution partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record of success in wholesale sales leadership and business development within the automotive parts industry, demonstrating the ability to grow insurance, MSO, and fleet operations.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, evidenced by innovative approaches to sales strategy and business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to forge and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, utilizing successful partnerships within the insurance, MSO, and fleet sectors.
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on enhancing revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction, influenced by successful implementations in insurance, MSO, and fleet operations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools and technologies, supported by experience in leveraging technology for sales management and analytics.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this position based on job experience, education level, global geographic region, etc: $120,000-$225,000 with additional variable compensation potential through commissions.
