Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Indiana Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Plan Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Lead and Participate in Interdisciplinary Teams: Lead or participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Float to Various Units: Float to all units, including geropsych, adult, and adolescent, to provide support and ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: 1 year med-surg experience and/or 1 year geriatric experience, 1 year of behavioral health experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Possess current license as an RN in Pennsylvania or must pass nursing boards within 6 months of hire, BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
