Position Overview

We are in search of a SharePoint Systems Administrator to enhance our IT team within the Operations Department. This role will report directly to the Director of IT. The SharePoint Systems Administrator will independently design, plan, implement, and maintain sophisticated SharePoint online environments. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Management

  • Design and develop tailored SharePoint solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Create and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
  • Establish and enforce SharePoint security and access protocols.
  • Implement redesign recommendations in collaboration with the Knowledge Management Lead.
  • Support Knowledge Management initiatives and assist in developing redesign implementation strategies.
  • Craft an information architecture for Dexis content in Teams and DexNet (the company intranet), deploying it in phases to enhance departmental and cross-functional experiences.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Knowledge Management Lead, utilizing SharePoint capabilities to enhance organizational knowledge management outcomes.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the Dexis Microsoft 365 Resource Center.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
  • Develop ongoing training programs to support education in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Viva Engage, ensuring continuous learning opportunities are available.
Systems Administration
  • Administer Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within the Office 365 environment.
  • Assist end-users with Intune-related tasks, including application deployment and policy enforcement.
  • Configure and maintain Exchange Online mailboxes, distribution lists, and email security settings.
  • Assist in implementing Office 365 security features, such as multi-factor authentication and data loss prevention.
  • Provide first-line support for Microsoft Intune-related inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve escalated Intune-related incidents.
  • Offer end-user training and support for Office 365 applications and features.
  • Perform user account and computer provisioning and termination tasks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience in managing enterprise cloud environments and applications.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in relevant fields.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to independently manage project planning.
  • 3+ years of experience in Office 365 and systems administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint online and cloud administration.
  • Proven experience in navigating large and complex networks.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with experience in direct user interaction.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and growth within the existing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French or Spanish.
  • Experience in database administration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS administration.
