Position Overview: As a Lead Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and managing Microsoft infrastructure across various environments, with a strong focus on security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and oversee Microsoft infrastructure solutions across multiple environments.
  • Facilitate workload migrations between on-premises, hybrid, and Azure environments, ensuring optimal security and performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within Microsoft infrastructure, utilizing expertise in Windows Server and VMware ESXi.
  • Deploy and maintain EntraID as the primary identity and access management solution.
  • Collaborate with the security team to uphold security best practices for all Microsoft products and services.
  • Utilize automation tools such as PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work alongside the End Point Engineer to manage Windows desktops and applications effectively.
  • Proactively monitor the Microsoft infrastructure for potential issues and resolve them before they affect users.
  • Assist in backup and recovery processes for on-premises Microsoft systems.
  • Maintain proficiency in core Microsoft technologies, including EntraID, Office 365, and Windows Defender.
  • Stay updated on emerging Microsoft technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in designing and managing Microsoft infrastructure.
  • Experience in hybrid and cloud (Azure) environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory concepts and EntraID is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with VMware ESXi is advantageous.
  • Ability to implement and maintain security best practices for Microsoft products.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $80,315.36 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and business requirements.
