This is a key role on the Human Resources team at Harvard Management Company, focusing on recruiting, performance management, employee relations, and training and development. The successful candidate will have a strong interest or experience in talent acquisition and recruiting, and will be able to think strategically while executing a diverse set of HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the investment team on the analyst program across all aspects of the employee life cycle, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Directly mentor analysts and provide coaching, counseling, and employee relations support to managers and employees across all functions.
- Lead the recruiting process for Support staff and investment analyst program, including developing compensation offers and partnering with managers on the recruiting process.
- Oversee the annual evaluation process and performance management for Support staff.
- Play a significant role in employee engagement and learning and development programs, including diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, mentoring, and coaching.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 8-12 years of broad HR experience, including recruiting, and exposure to at least one of the following functional areas: performance management, training and development, or employee relations.
- Strong interest or experience in talent acquisition and recruiting required.
- Open to experience in professional services and biotech/tech; exposure to financial services, asset management, or banking a plus.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and organizational skills.
- Self-starter who can handle a diverse set of initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective and influential business partnerships.
- Operates with a sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently.
- Business acumen and analytical capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
The FLSA classification for this position is exempt. Harvard Management Company is on a hybrid work model, with employees expected to be in the office from Tuesday to Thursday and remote on other days.
