Role Summary:

We are in search of a dynamic, professional, and detail-oriented receptionist to become a vital part of our front office team. The main responsibility of this role is to handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department with efficiency and professionalism. Additionally, this position involves managing order processing and communicating with dealers via email. As the first point of contact for visitors, exceptional customer service skills are essential. Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:
  • Answer phone calls promptly and in a friendly manner
  • Transfer calls to the correct department or individual swiftly
  • Manage the switchboard effectively while placing customers on hold
  • Welcome visitors with professionalism and a warm demeanor
  • Maintain a tidy and professional front desk area
Order Processing:
  • Process stock orders received through our website, fax, or email
  • Communicate effectively with accounts regarding product details, inventory status, and delivery timelines
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Richardson's products and services
  • Assist customers in resolving issues while fostering trusted relationships with accounts
  • Correspond with dealers concerning tracking, back orders, inventory inquiries, and confidential data management

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organizational levels
  • Proficient in MS Office and possess strong computer and typing skills
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • High School Diploma or GED; college education preferred

Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
