Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Corporate Communications Specialist to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute internal and external communications strategies.
  • Proactively identify and implement marketing initiatives.
  • Engage with potential users and user groups to enhance communication processes.
  • Provide recommendations for message development, communication method selection, and timing of communications.
  • Research, write, edit, and publish various communication products (e.g., print, web, electronic, briefings).
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, briefing developers, and other necessary staff to create publications and communications.
  • Prepare materials for internal dissemination.
  • Oversee and manage production timelines.
  • Innovate new communication methods to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Support senior leadership by crafting speeches, talking points, video scripts, communication plans, articles, and other necessary communication products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field (or 15+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
  • Basic understanding of the Department of Defense.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with graphic design tools and techniques.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced experience with graphic design tools and techniques.
  • Master's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Occasional movement within the office to attend meetings and engage with colleagues.
  • Effective communication with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
