Role Responsibilities: The Channel Sales Manager will play a crucial role in recruiting, guiding, and communicating with all Agent Vendors within the channel. This position is accountable for achieving or surpassing the sales budget for the agent channel by training, motivating, and overseeing all agent vendors.
Key Duties Include:
- Recruiting, qualifying, and managing Agents.
- Implementing channel programs and policies as directed by corporate leadership.
- Effectively managing the channel portfolio to prevent conflicts with other sales teams.
- Coordinating marketing materials and messages for Agents, ensuring alignment with corporate/regional guidelines.
- Utilizing standard Agent Agreements and ensuring their financial viability.
- Tracking Agent Agreements to expiration and ensuring compliance.
- Coordinating payments to Agents in accordance with agreements.
- Conducting performance reviews to ensure standards are met and taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through timely installation of products/services sold by Agents.
- Responding to Agent inquiries regarding installation timelines and related issues.
- Keeping rate sheets updated for products and services in compliance with guidelines.
- Continuously updating Agents on new products, changes, and rate adjustments.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of experience. A combination of a Master's degree and 4 years of experience may also be considered.
Preferred: 2 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross-functional projects, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
