Compensation includes a base salary of $86,000 - $129,000. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $42,000.

Job Description

The Channel Sales Executive will be primarily accountable for the recruitment, guidance, and communication with all Agent Vendors operating within the agent channel. This individual will be tasked with achieving or surpassing the planned sales budget for the agent channel by training, motivating, and overseeing all agent vendors. Additionally, this position will ensure that all agent vendors comprehend and implement the sales strategy while establishing sales objectives for them.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks
  • Recruit, qualify, and manage Agents effectively.
  • Implement channel programs and policies as directed by corporate leadership.
  • Manage the channel portfolio efficiently to prevent potential conflicts with other sales team members.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to oversee the system's channel portfolio effectively.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and messages provided to Agents, ensuring alignment with corporate/regional marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize standard Agent Agreements, ensuring their financial viability.
  • Monitor Agent Agreements to expiration, ensuring compliance and assessing whether Agents should be renewed at the end of the Agreement period.
  • Coordinate payments to Agents, ensuring compliance with Agent Agreements.
  • Track disconnects and chargebacks to Agents, ensuring reconciliation against payments.
  • Conduct performance reviews of direct reports to ensure that performance standards are met and take immediate action to enhance performance levels if necessary.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely installation of products/services sold by Agents.
  • Address Agent inquiries regarding installation timelines and related issues.
  • Ensure rate sheets are updated for products and services in compliance with corporate/regional guidelines.
  • Continuously inform Agents about new products, product changes, rate changes, etc.
  • Stay current on technical information regarding telephony, data, and video communications, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), networking, and management through completion of required/recommended training programs.
  • Collaborate with local training coordinators and Cox Business Atlanta to ensure the training needs of the Agents are met.
Qualifications

Minimum
  • 10 years of job-related experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in interpersonal leadership, presentation, and collaboration to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
Preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
