Position Overview:

The Senior Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in executing HR functions at a professional level, collaborating with HR leadership and senior specialists to support designated regions. This role is essential in establishing and leading HR practices and objectives while providing daily HR assistance to assigned departments. The Specialist will work closely with manufacturing supervisors and other leaders to ensure effective support for 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including the administration of policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Facilitate communication between associates and management across various departments, ensuring equitable resolution of HR-related inquiries.
  • Oversee onboarding, off-boarding, recruitment, and employment status changes.
  • Engage with associates to monitor morale and address concerns effectively.
  • Provide expert guidance to managers on employment laws and HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee and company information.
  • Coordinate with the recruiting team to streamline the hiring process.
  • Prepare internal communications regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Participate in and lead associate committees to foster engagement.
  • Continuously seek improvements in HR processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position does not have direct reports and does not require regular travel. The estimated salary range for this role is between $65,300 and $93,000 annually.
